1$TV is a unique and organically self-contained ecosystem that gives filmmakers access to a wide audience and monetizes their work. In essence, we are creating an alternative global film fund, whose budget is generated by viewers.
Our Mission is to create a global, independent and self-sufficient film industry of interest to a wide audience and a unique opportunity for filmmakers to monetize their content.
We're building our industry around crowdfunding, so we charge a $1 subscription as an entry fee. All proceeds go to support the infrastructure and Original content of the pilot season. The user can also make a donation for any content they like. These funds are split 50/50 between the platform and the filmmaker.
In the future, we plan to make the subscription $1 a month and also sell pre-sales of new season content. Filmmakers will be able to raise money for new projects within our ecosystem.

What is $1? You could probably buy a doughnut or even a cup of coffee with it, if you're lucky... We'll consider it the minimum price you can afford for excesses. We offer a new TV subscription and access to an exclusive catalog of international movies in return, and it sure beats a dollar!
What's the difference between movies and movies? Movies are many, but real movies are paid for by the viewer. Even if it's just a token dollar for a subscription!

Any Filmmaker can submit his film. All submissions will be processed by the Unknown Film Festival international jury. The film should not exceed 60 minutes long. The film should not be in the public domain on the Internet.
The more the better. If we reach our goal of 1,000,000 subscribers in three years, we will build a company with a financial turnover of $13,000,000 - $18,000,000 per year / producing up to 100 original pieces of content per year
